It started with some nice markers. Then progressed to brush pens and Microns. And now I have the iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil—talk about incredible. I’m obsessed. I can’t put the iPad down and spend most of my time in the depths of the Procreate app, which I highly recommend. It’s truly a hand lettering paradise and if my iPad didn’t run out of battery so quickly, I would be up all night.

As I delve into the world of hand lettering, I’d like to share some of my creations, in the form a bucket list. I’m still practicing and experimenting with new styles and brushes everyday, so things are sure to change over time, but here’s where we’re at:

Looking forward, I think I’d like to try out those hand lettering demonstration videos that are so mesmerizing on the internet. I’m not sure how, but it can’t be too difficult, right?
